Mateenah’s Manor Assisted Living Homes, LLC is proud to serve the Laveen, Arizona community with the opening of our first licensed adult assisted living home. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and dignified environment where residents receive the support they need while maintaining their independence and quality of life.

Our highly trained and compassionate staff provide three levels of care tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident:

Levels of Care

Supervisory Care Services

Supervisory care represents the most basic level of support, designed for residents who are largely independent but benefit from general oversight to ensure their safety and well-being.
Our supervisory care services include:
 

• Daily monitoring and oversight of residents’ needs and capabilities

• Emergency intervention, with staff trained to respond quickly and effectively to any crisis

• Medication assistance related to self-administration, such as reminders, opening containers, and observing dosages (in compliance with physician orders and training guidelines)
   

Residents receiving supervisory care are capable of recognizing danger, expressing needs, and making basic decisions about their own care. Our role is to support their independence through light assistance such as meal preparation, housekeeping, activity coordination, and transportation.

Personal Care Services

Personal care is ideal for residents who require hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) due to physical limitations or mild cognitive challenges.

Services include help with:
 

• Bathing and showering

• Dressing and grooming

• Feeding and dietary management

• Toileting and continence support

• Mobility and transfers

• Personal hygiene and grooming tasks
   

Additional support includes:
 

• Medication administration and treatment by a licensed nurse

• Intermittent nursing services (e.g., wound care, injections), coordinated or provided by licensed professionals
   

Residents at this level typically retain decision-making ability but need physical support for daily tasks. Our trained staff ensures their comfort, dignity, and safety.

Directed Care Services

Directed care is the highest level of support, tailored for individuals with significant physical or cognitive impairments, such as advanced dementia, Alzheimer’s, or chronic health conditions.
This level includes:
 

• Full assistance with all ADLs

• Medication management administered by trained professionals

• Custom care plans, developed to address each resident’s complex needs

• 24/7 supervision and enhanced safety measures (including protocols for residents prone to wandering)

• Cognitive stimulation programs to support mental engagement

• Ongoing coordination with family members and healthcare providers
   

Note: In accordance with Arizona state regulations, residents who are permanently bedridden or have unmanageable Stage 3 or 4 pressure ulcers (outside of hospice care or temporary illness) may not be eligible for admission at this level of care.
